Yeah this are getting more common buddy and are a good thing in my opinion because it helps trans people and allows families to change together etc etc. I imagine there would be private stools where you can change in private:)

I haven't of any coed lockers in my area yet. I don't think there will be any here soon either. Probably bring out too many wackos and pervs. Just my opinion though.

First I have heard of them. Strange with all the battles going on over which bathroom transgender people can use.

I personally think gender neutral bathrooms are the way forward for the trans community however for now obviously they should be allowed to go where they want!

Where is this? I can't see this happening in America. In Washington State it's now legal for people to use any restroom or locker room that they "identify with". So a guy could go into a women's locker room and it would be legal. But since the law has been inacted (4 months I think) only heard of one incident of it happening. As for bathrooms they are making more and more coed bathrooms. Most of them are single restrooms tho. The few big ones have no urinals, just stalls. So nobody would ever see nudity. Like I said I can't see coed showers and locker rooms in America ... yet. it's coming tho.

I wouldn't use it. There is a reason their are male and female locker rooms and bathrooms. That is just asking for perverts and other weird company. If you are a male, then you use guys, if you are female, you use the women. Family bathrooms are fine, but those are completely different than gender neutral.

I would not use a co-ed locker room. I am way too shy to get naked round girls.

Yes, this, there's so much hype about gender this and gender that, if it's one restroom that has all amanaties needed for a restroom, would make sense, and also reduce any risk of concern people have as families and groups can stay together also.

The tramsgender population is getting a raw deal in this Dept as far as I'm concerned.

Perverts?
And how would you identify a pervert simply by the restroom they use?

Where would the trans people go and have you ever used a gender neutral bathroom?

I think it has to do with the new changed in society regarding gender-fluidity. I'd be surprised though if they didn't have separate locker rooms, you know due to liability issues. If you're uncomfortable changing or using a co-ed locker room I'm sure you could use the family room (if there is one, which there should be lol)

Um, they would use the bathroom of the gender they biologically are. Makes perfect sense.

I have used family restrooms, but never a public gender neutral bathroom. Proud and true North Carolina resident.

So you want this guy going in the girls bathroom? Forcing trans people into their biological bathrooms is not only stupid, ignorant and transphobic, it actually puts trans people in danger.

We have gender neutral bathrooms at my sixth form and it is pretty normal buddy.

No, I don't want that guy, especially if that guy dresses up like a woman and pretends he is such.

There goes the typical liberal method of insulting those who disagree with them.

I doubt the thread creator here wanted a debate. Lets end this

I may have quoted/mentioned you in the wrong context, but we're on the same page, sorry.

Whatever gender you have at birth and your genitalia fits is what bathroom you use. I was confused by your initial post, apologizes if my answer seemed odd. Believing that you are something you aren't is a mental disorder, and these people should seek treatment. Encouraging this will just make it worse. That woman in the pic should use the bathroom that fits with her biological sex, that simple.

I am not continuing this debate here, this thread was for simple observations. I don't see it as right, that simple.

Doesn't god tell you to be kind to everyone? I don't think you understand what a mental disorder is. Actually you're being extremely rude and irrational here. A bit of respect could be good here right? They are also people with feelings. So if I don't feel 100% masculin I automaticly have a mental illness? Yeah right. How exactly are they hurting anyone? Are they doing anything wrong by being themselves?

I usually refuse to post in P101 but this is just stupid.

Aha it's okay buddy!xD
Believing that you are something you aren't is a mental disorder,
This is simply ignorant and transphobic. Why don't you do some research before you say stuff like this? Just because someone is different to you does not make them mental. That is how they used to justify homophobia.

I'm confused.

We want a M2F to use the guy's bathroom because the person was born with guy parts, but has a surgically-created vagina.

But we want a F2M to use the girls bathroom...but I thought we wanted people with penises to stay out of the girls bathroom?? Likewise, I thought this was the "use the bathrook on your birth certificate" rule? Not to mention, some states allow that stuff to be changed.

So all trans people, regardless of their birth certificate or what they have under their pants should use the guy's bathroom?

And there's already heterosexual and gay people sneaking peeks anyway. Just look through these forums for threads about urinals or whatever.
