I am 18. When I was in high school (live in Michigan, went to a public school) we would shower naked after pe/work out classes/sports. I guess technically if someone put enough of a fuss they could have gotten out of it, but honestly, I am glad we had the chance to get clean before we went back to classes, esp when we had those classes early on in the day

Yes and no. Some guys are really self conscious about their naked body and try and get out of a shower. I think it should be mandatory, it's proper hygeine. And if it takes a coach or phys Ed teacher to make sure they do I don't see it any different than a math teacher making sure the students do their algebra

Showers after P.E. are uncommon here. At the public high school the situation was the same. Showers were only after swimming and we all wore bathing suits to shower--it was just to rinse ourselves off. Otherwise, no showering, and certainly no nudity.
