HELP plz..!

Hi my name is Jess and have recently been going through the normal stages of puberty but some REALLY weird things have been happening.

Last month I noticed my labia started getting bigger but I thought it was no big deal and they were just growing from puberty. A little bit after that, I checked my vagine again (around a week later) and my lips were getting seriously large. I started noticing a pain coming from them but just thought it was growing pains. Now my lips are HUGE and look embarrassing!! I swear they're 2 inches outward and have a bluish tint like they're bruised!!! I don't want to have blue mudflaps!! Plz HELP what should I do?? I would be wayyy too embarrassed to go to the doctors!

Sounds like something you need to go to the doctor's about. I'm not sure what it is, but it could be something serious. Doesn't matter if you're embarrassed, you gotta suck it up and let someone know.

This sounds like something a medal professional should take care of, not a bunch of random people on a forum lol. Don't be afraid to ask a parent or adult! Especially if it might be serious (I'm not saying it is). Good luck to you!

Doctors see hairy old men and women on a daily basis with their pants down. You will NOT scare them or embarrass them:-)

First, tell your mum. She gave birth to you, even if she's not usually 'hands on', she can tell you if there's something wrong - which there really sounds like there is. If you don't want to ask her just go straight to the doctors, ask for a female doctor, try to sound cool and collected. It'll boost your confidence.

Whatever you do don't keep this a secret. Do you really want life long problems... down there? Sort it out now, don't worry about being embarrassed - think how much worse it would be if you don't get this checked out.

And just keep thinking about those grannies. Nothing can go wrong as long as you tell the doctor:-)

I would seek advice from a doctor personally I don't think anyone's answers as to what it is if anything are going to be correct.

Do they hurt? It's *possible* your lips are going to be "outies" but yeah, I'd get to a doctor just to be safe. Like others have said, they see so many naked people over the course of a day that it doesn't matter. If your regular doctor is a guy, I believe you can request a female.
