View Full Version : Penis angle and position

Does the angle of an erect penis matter?
When erect, my penis never come close to touching my body. It either hangs straight out or goes slightly down.. why is this?
When lying down and ejaculating, I tend to position the penis horizontally (towards my legs/thighs), not upwards or up towards my face/chest. I find positioning the penis towards my face/chest leads to a weaker ejaculation, less volume and isn't very good generally.
Any thoughts? It's only a worry because I don't want to be causing physical problems
If I haven't explained very well, just let me know

Everyones diffrent mine points straight out or abit up if im really really horny, some peoples go left or right so there is lots of variation and as such as long as your not forcing it too much and it dosnt cause any pain id think you would be absolutly fine.

Straight out ( a little bit up) and a little to the left. It really doesn't matter ... as long as it's not in the shape of a lightning bolt haha.

My angles straight up, and the tip touches my belly button :P It goes along with my fav. Position, me holding the girl in the air, like, against a wall, and you know, thats TMI lol, it just is angled to fit my fav. position the best.

Don't worry buddy, it happens with me too, and I'd say it's pretty normal, nothing to worry about.

My dad says, "When the heat of the meat exceeds the mass of the ass, the angle of dangle is constant." Whatever that means.

I don't think the angle matters, it's just another way that all penises are different and as long as it doesn't cause you any problems it should be fine.

We are all different so what is normal for you is normal and what may be normal for some one else may be different. So don't worry about what works for you.

Thanks for the replies
I ask because it can feel a strain to ejaculate when my penis is sticking vertically out (when lying down). It's why I always angle horizontally. I might find it difficult cumming on my chest, so ends up on thighs
Just wondered

I think anyone can do that position, even if there dick angles down, just may be easier for those whose dicks angle up.

Do you mean it hurts only while you are cumming? Or do you mean it hurts when it is in that position whether you're cumming or not? There shouldn't be a strain when you cum ... if there is that could be a reason to see the doctor imo. But if you're saying it hurts when you push your penis into the opposite angle that it naturally goes to then that is natural. Like since I angle a bit up and to the left naturally, there is a tiny bit of discomfort if I push my boner to lay it on my right thigh, but even if there is a bit of discomfort (more resistance, not discomfort, pain level would be like .1 from 1-10 lol) I can do it.

There's no pain, but it's as if the volume or strength of ejaculation isn't as great as if my penis was horizontal (horizontal towards my legs, not flat against my chest)
The orgasm feels anticlimactic whenever I try positioning my penis either straight up in the air (at right angles with my chest), or flat against my chest/stomach

It's fine as long as there is no pain and you're not forcing it. My cock points down and to the left when hard.

Wow, I never heard of the ejaculation being smaller or orgasm not being as intense if the dick is in the opposite angle and position of it's natural way. Depending on how much less you may want to ask your doctor ... but as long as it's all good in the natural position then you should be fine.

yeah you are normal. Scientists would probably say the angle is what it is to benefit sexual reproduction.
