You my friend, have a crush on her. It's as simple as that. What you should do is try to get to know her, get her number, name, Facebook, whatever. If you can do that then you can easily message her without fear of stuttering or whatever, and you can get to know her more comfortably that way. And then ask her out. Don't say "Hey do you want to go on a date?" I've learned from experience and from a trusted teacher that that can sometimes be too forward. Just ask her generally "Hey do you want to go do X over the weekend?" or however you want to go about it.

Golden Rules:
1) Be nice
2) Get to know her
3) Lots of eye contact, but not in a creepy unblinking way, just make sure when you're communicating to look her in the eye
4) Don't read into her actions too much, if she likes you and wants you to do something in particular she will make it very obvious in a subtle way like "My hands are cold". You'll have to determine her signs very carefully, you cannot overestimate or underestimate anything
5) Trust your gut instinct. Not in action, in feeling. Your gut feeling will almost always be correct, but the feeling that's driving you to do something like kiss her out of the blue is NOT what you want to listen to. If you feel you're being too clingy, or you feel she's a bit distant, then you're probably right. If you feel "Man I think it'd be romantic if I just kissed her right now," then DO NOT LISTEN THAT IS YOUR PENIS TALKING

Anyway, good luck. You just have to go for it, and I wouldn't look back on it if nothing good comes of it, it was just an opportunity that turned out to be not very much, just bad luck really.

P.S. If you're afraid to ask her out or for her number or something, my rule is to just do it before you second guess yourself. Let's say you type out a text saying "Hey, could you show me around the place on Saturday? Maybe we can grab lunch after as well," or basically anything asking her out, do NOT SECOND-GUESS! JUST HIT SEND! If you just do it before you can be afraid, you will take the chance, avoiding the terrible regret of having wasted a potential opportunity
