Hey guys. I live in India. My uncle (Mom's brother) is settled in USA (Citizen now I believe). He's coming over to visit for 3 days, and asked me if I wanted anything he can bring as he only has 2 daughters and so doesn't know what dudes want. My dilemna is, what should I ask for? As such, I don't really need anything, but he is insisting. My concern is , it shouldn't be too costly and at the same time something I like. Maybe Americans can help me on this one??
Thanks.

What sort of stuff do you like? Sometimes a gift isn't what you need, rather what you would like to have. I'd imagine a gift from another nation would be pretty cool. But choosing one is kinds hard

Maybe a your favorite USA sports team jersey, or something else you came get easily where you live

Lol. Exactly my problem. I have no idea what to ask for! At first I thought Iphone 6 :D :D Way cheaper compared to India. But that contradicts my first rule, shouldn't be too costly. And that would be like asking too much, I'm well aware of that. So that's out of the window. Should I ask for a shoe or t-shirt or something?
And I don;t really follow USA sports, I'm more of a soccer guy ;)

Yeah an iPhone is pretty expensive. Plus if you buy it here it may not work there so....
Don't think there is an American soccer team, but I'm not a big follower either

What kind of stuff you see as being like "American" that you can't get where you live?

Well how about a variety of American candy? I have a friend from England that begged me to send him American candy. It cost me a fortune (more than the candy cost) to send it lol but as long as your uncle will be bringing it there would be no shipping cost. Just a thought.

Jamie_n problem with candy is its edible. I dont want something that's like *poof* eaten up. Maybe a sweatshirt or clothes or something? Or a book?

sports is a good idea. american football is popular in Europe, not sure about India, but a football jersey i think is fairly rare.

What about video games? Consoles like the DS, Xbox One, PS4 and Vita are region free. Also systems like the 2DS and Wii are so inexpensive here, the same money to buy a Jersey could get you one of those...
