you should have one every 6 months to a year, but if you're going to the médicine anyways, you might aswell ask him/her to do one anyways

Oh you mean like a check-up? a physical is also classed as that.
I get my blood pressure taken quite a lot since my family had heart conditions that can cause sudden rises in blood pressure for no reason (Thankfully its not affected me) but yeah I havent been to the doctors since I was like 7 just because I'm never ill and if I am I'm not seriously ill.
But over in the UK health service is free meaning you only really get a check up if you have a health condition or if you visit the doctor.

if you're in England, you should go once a year, and it's covered by NHS

NHS should cover everything except private clinics and hospitals, not including medications and stuff, but you know what I mean

Ah ok, I thought you had to be prone to illnesses or suffer from one e.g. you would get it if you had diabetes

Well I cant remember the last time I had a checkup! My brother has the constantly though. He's the accident prone one and is forever falling down stairs/off his bike, tripping, swallowing marbles etc.
I beleive that it should be once a year.
hehehe sounds like me. I've been to almost every hospital in toronto, and most of them more than once or twice
