Ah, Dilemmas with a girl

SO, I was over at my best friends yesterday, lets call her Jordan, and we were just hanging out, I took her to the mall, and bought her food, we had smoothies, screamed at cars in traffic, Held up traffic, yada yada, just friendly things, nothing really, serious. I call her fam, and she calls me bro, so like, I never really thought anything of it. Well, as the night wore on, me and Jordan were outside with her best friend and her brother, and I jokingly sat on her lap, and called her daddy. JOKINGLY, just to reapply that word. Well, Im a bit heavier than her, (Im not huge, she is just tiny cx it's so cute, honestly. Agh) so I suggested switching, and even her mom was like, "ah, isnt the guy supposed to be on the bottom? We laughed, and switched. and I wrapped my arms around her holding her. Thats when like, something popped in my chest, like, a warm feeling, I dunno man.. She slowly intertwined her fingers with mine, and we fell asleep holding each other for a little. I woke up really happy, and she got up to go pee, and like, at the same time, her friend and brother suggested that we date. Like I said, I never really thought about it, so I asked, and apparently she doesnt like people like, holding her, or shes not comfortable with it, and that she has rejected like, 5 guys, so the fact that we fell asleep cuddling seemed, crazy to them.. Should I go for it? Im going to the beach with her today, and Im nervous. Like, agh, what do I do?

That's confusing because in your former post you called her as a girlfriend already, and that you had already taken her out on a few dates and you were having issues.

So now I guess before it was informal dates as friends? Only now verbal conversation has solidified understanding on both sides that you are indeed an item now formally?

Also did you take advice and set ground rules?
