My friend is coming over for a sleepover tonight and I usually sleep naked. Should I still sleep naked when he's here? And what do I do If I need to get up?

I always sleep naked. Its a habit now. Most my friends don't know. I just get into sleeping bag with boxers only and pull them off when I get inside. If I have to get up in the night I usually put on my boxers but if it's a short walk and know his family won't see me I may walk to bathroom naked if and only if he's a good friend. Just do what you feel is right. Personally I change in front of my friends but limit walking around naked for the most part.

I would think wearing a sleeping bag would be counter intuitive as you're wearing the sleeping bag over you're body. Its basically no different than clothing, but probably different than your own clothing :D.

Just ask your friends if they are comfortable with you sleeping naked, and they'll probably be okay with it, just cover up with a duvet while you're sleeping to cover up the bits.

this is the way to go. if they are uncomfortable, it wouldn't hurt to wear at least underwear (being both guys, being in underwear should not be a big deal). he may not have a problem with you sleeping nude, he might do it himself when he is at home. just talk about it and if anything, if you need to go up, throwing something on before getting out of bed.

If you are going to sleep naked you could do as mentioned and slip off your underwear. That would also solve getting up. But if you do sleep naked you should also be prepared that others may be seeing you naked too.

Is he going to be sleeping in your bed? If not, goto bed with your boxers or a pair of shorts on and then take them off under the covers when you get ready to goto sleep and when you get up just slide them on again under the covers

if it is ok with him-if he doesn't mind then go
about it as u would do if he wasn't there-if he
says it would b uncomfortable with him then
for the time he is there sleep in ur boxers or
whatever u wear-if u sleep naked and even if
he says he is ok with it-keep ur boxers close
to u and if u have to get up just slip them on
and go-when u return slip them off again. ;)

I think these make the most sense personally, besides, he might be thinking the same thing himself, ever consider he might sleep nude and how you'd feel if he wants to, and not sure how to handle that?
So asking seem like a really good idea given that don't it?

It really depends on both of your comfort levels. If you are sleeping in the same bed, you would most likely have to wear boxers, but if he is on the floor or somewhere else, just take your underwear off under the covers and keep them under your pilow or something if you need to get up.

i do have a friend that when we sleep together i keep my underwear on even though he knows i normally sleep nude. he's more comfortable that way. other friends either sleep nude with me or don't care that i do.

Well ask him he's fine with you sleeping nude around him and if/when he says he's cool with it good to sleep butt nude, and if you have to get up do what ever you normally do its what comes with him being cool with you sleeping nude.

FYI - There are people who can't sleep with clothes on (me). I literally feel claustrophobic in them (does depend on how tight sheets are and other things too, but still). it can be possible for me to fall asleep when I have clothes on but it's damn hard and it can take hours. Like I said in post #2 tho, it's possible to slip out of boxers under sheets or inside a sleeping bag and nobody will even know your naked.

I agree. Just tell him that is what you normally do, and ask if he is ok with it

As other people have mentioned, it's only one night. Wearing underwear or shorts to bed while they're there wouldn't be a bad idea.

Sleep naked, it's not bad at all,I stayed at a guy's house and he slept naked and I didn't really care. He left boxers on his bed in case he had to get up.

I would still sleep naked. Just act like nothing happens and it is completely normal to you. Maybe your friend also sleeps usually naked and he would be afraid to sleep this way at your home. If he notices that it is also your routine, probably he will join you :)

In the summer I've slept nude when a friend was over, he didn't mind but kept his underwear on and slept on top of the bed because it was hot

I had to sleep in the same bed as my friend on a school trip and he slept naked. It made me feel uncomfortable so I'd ask your friends if they're comfortable with that

When in Rome do as the Romans do. What I am saying is he,is visiting you so sleep naked as usual and he can sleep his usual way.

Totally depends how comfortable you are. I'd say if you're sleeping in the same bed you would have to ask if he's comfortable with it. Otherwise sleep how you want and if you're comfortable being naked in front of him don't cover up unless he asks you to

Unless the relationship already has a sexual component to it, I would NEVER try to sleep naked with a buddy on a sleepover. I think most guys (who are just friends, and nothing sexual ever happens between you) would be freaked out by it, even if they said they were cool with it.

For me, I sleep with nothing on all the time now, and all my underpants are boxer briefs. But I have one pair of real loose cotton boxers that I save specifically for sleepovers. I'll wear them to bed, and it's a good compromise. I feel comfortable like I was still nude down there, but I'm "socially dressed" for bed. (I hope that makes sense?)
