Hi I'm 14 years old. My parents have always made me wear briefs, but for this I am made fun of in the lockers and I find them uncomfortable. When I bring this up to them, they that briefs are"traditional" and that they won't "waste money" on new underwater. What should I do?

well you have two options. continue wearing what they buy you, or use your own money to buy boxer briefs, boxers, whatever
I will say though, wear/buy what is comfortable for you, not what others want you to wear or what they think is cool

Who gives a fuck what other people think? But if they're really uncomfortable, if you have money of your own, buy some boxer-briefs. They're a lot more comfortable.

I agree with Skylark, but if you don't want to save the money, you can go commando. Its up to you!

At various times I have tried boxers (they are redundant, might as well go commando); boxer briefs (too tight on my thighs for comfort); a thong (really uncomfortable but pleased my gf at the time). I always returned to briefs for comfort. Just tell those nuts that your personal comfort is more important than their opinion. Also, just suggest that the next time you need new underware that it be something different.

Well you might just need to buy them yourself and some idiot kids shouldn't make you feel bad about the clothing you wear

Well, if it's that much of an issue for them, I'd say, screw it, I won't wear them then, see what that does for you. I'd even say if it's a money issue, then don't buy them, cause I'm not wearing them
As for the guys in school?
Fuck them, tell them to come see me, I'll have a chat with them for ya ok?

If you get money like for your birthday or other occasion you could buy your own.
And as far as others just ignore them. They are just stupid.

I'm sure almost all of us have had a similar problem before! Personally, I didn't change my underwear style, I thought boxer briefs and briefs are more comfortable so that's what I wore! Don't worry about the other guys saying things to you.

Maybe buy different underwear with your own money? You should be allowed to wear what you want.

if your parents buy your clothes they get to have a say in the decision of what you wear, even your underwear.
i like briefs and don't care if others don't. if i didn't like them, like others have said, i would save my money and buy what I want.

I was the same as you, but my parents never went against my will to get new underwear. I would try to convince them that you're growing out of your old underwear and that you might as well try a new style if that's what you want. Otherwise you might have to use your own money to buy them.

Not to go too far off-topic, but I'll have to disagree. I think briefs are just as comfortable, if not better.

I wore them for a week and I thought they were horribly uncomfortable. They always jammed my dick and balls up into my pelvic bone and scratched at them too. All comes down to personal preference I guess.

Options: 1) you can continue to complain, 2) you can use your own money nad buy what you want, 3) you can always refuse to wear them and go commando
