why would your parents be suspicious of you being shirtless? I get it some parents see it as a modesty thing and you got to respect your parents wishes. honestly, though, if they haven't said you can't, try going shirtless. if they ask, say it is hot and it is more comfortable (both of which would be true)

as far as me, my parents never had a problem with me being shirtless around the house (obviously if we have company, it is different). they even been ok with me being in my underwear if I am coming up to get something or whatever (again, assuming company is not over). I don't walk around the house completely naked (usually even when they are not home I have something on) and even just underwear I try not to over do it when the parents are around (my room is in the basement and there, I really don't care).

so at the end of the day, just go for it or even ask your parents and explain why. most usually don't have a problem with a guy being shirtless. got to respect their wishes, but the only way you will know is if you ask or even try it out and wait to see what they will say

Guess I am lucky. I can go totally naked and it is ok. Of course if there is company I don't and we are requested to dress for dinner.

Shirtless? I could go naked and my mom wouldn't say anything. My dad would say, "What are you doing naked?" and my sis would say, "Caen, put some pants on."

It would help if you said what they would be suspicious of and what things would they question you about?

Yeah... Suspicious is odd. Some families, like mine, do see it as desrespectful. I try to wear a tshirt most of the time. At frat everyone else wears shirts too, so....

Why would you worry about that man. If you want to go shirtless go shirtless. I wouldn't think that your parents would mind.

Not sure I understand either why they would be "suspicious" as to why you don't have a shirt on.

my brother and i go nude at home

That seems weird to me. I rarely wear a shirt in the house unless it's winter. Lots of times after dinner and before bed I just have my underpants on.

I usually wear tshirts and shorts, unless I'm home alone.

Same, I'd usually be commando I might not have a shirt on but that's not that common

I agree, this really isn't an issue for everyone. Some people just have a fear in their imagination.

I guess it's different for every family and everyone has different levels of modesty when it comes to that. At least where I live the only place where I'd be comfortable being in my underwear is in my bedroom but for some reason not so much outside of it unless it's to quickly use the bathroom across the hall and come back. In my mind this is something more of respect and modesty, but this is different from family to family and it can go either direction. Personally I wouldn't mind what anyone else does but people here are the same in that regard too.

Modesty is not a issue in my family. I walk around in just briefs most of the time. Unless of course we have company. When my friends sleep over they are just in briefs too.

try doing it in your room first to get used to it and to get them used to the idea that youre doing it, then branch out from there.

when I am home I am usually in my only my boxers or naked (except if we have company)
