Answering the original question first, it makes a difference, certainly, but for me I think it has less effect on the itensity of the orgasm than spending time edging does.

All other things being equal, it does feel better, though, and there is more, thicker cum.

In more detail what I think is happenning is that the cumming feeling is actually made up of two parts. One is an orgasm feeling that has nothing to do with ejaculating, the same feeling you get before you are deeveloped enough to ejaculate. The other is the physical sensations that result from the semen expanding your uerethra, the tube it travels along, on its way out. Both are pleasurable and contribute to the overal pleasure. Saving up a bigger load mainly affects the second one whereas edging maining affects the first one.

I'd agreed he can't have counted accurately. When cumming normally it is usual to have a few contractions at the end where there is nothing left to come out. From that it seems like the body doesn't have a mechanism to work out when everything is empty and stop the contractions at that point, rather the number of contractions is a reflex and is comfortably enough to get the job done. I have never counted but I did see figure for this at around 12-13. Assuming this is right, even if he had enough for 22 contractions to be needed, still only 12-13 would happen and he'd then probably feel the need to go for it again.
