First kiss?

Hello people! I have a question which is perhaps interesting, but you may have already heard or thought of it yourself.

As the title suggests: When do you know that the other person is ready, and how do you ask for/initiate the first kiss?

Simple as that. What do you people do?

I think we just get a sense like we can feel something, like and instinct. It's a matter of if we trust our instinct or act on it. I usually follow mine and I'm not usually wrong. And that can be applied to almost anything in life really, just follow your instincts
