Ok my pubes are out of control but father thinks I should wait til I am 16 to shave them. Not to mention my sick is getting longer and erections are coming more rapid.

Well I don't really see what getting more erections has to do with shaving your pubes. Either way, I'd suggest just doing what you want to do. I don't know why your dad doesn't want you to shave it until you're 16, that doesn't make much sense to me. If you think it's getting out of control then just shave it off.

I think it is your personal decision to shave or not, not your dad's. Anyway, it'll grow back within a few weeks so if you don't like it shaved, you will know not to shave again. On the other hand, if you like it shaved, you can shave again or mix it up. I'd say it is worth a try to see if you like it or not. No harm done.

I would say trim them short but don't shave them. Your age shouldn't have anything to do with it.
And your parents shouldn't have any say in what you do with your body hair.

I started shaving my pubes because hair sticking out of speedo leg is not pretty. I liked the feel so did from time to time. Now I stay bald by shaving regularly in the shower. My partner also shaves so we are nice and smooth. Regular maintenance is important. Also a good gel and lotion afterwards.

first of all I don't understand at 13 why your dad knows what state your pubes or your erections are in . it is up to u to shave your bush if you like he will not know unless he is inspecting you ? if you do need to trim your bush why not do it in a cubicle at your school or at the pool and put the hairs in the toilet, at 13 I really think you should leave the hairs as thy are or has someone said you should shave them ?

I don't really see why your dad would want you to wait, it's your own decision. I would however suggest that you start with trimming because I find it takes care of the out-of-control issue and doesn't take as much effort as shaving.

my advice would be the same, trim for now. my dad doesn't care what i do with my pubes. i'm pretty sure he trims his, they always look neat. my brother trims or shaves his but he just started growing them.

It is your body. Personally I love pubes. I do trim a bit. I don't see what pubes have to do with erections. If you mean that your dick gets tangled up in your pubes that is kind of normal. Especially when you get hot and sweaty.
