Underwear unde swim trunks

If yes, which type (boxers, briefs, compression shorts...)?
And why?

I occasionally do, mostly my compression boxer briefs. Most of my swim trunks are white so I wear underwear under them so the outline of my dick won't be seen haha.

90% of the time im wearing swim briefs, so i think wearing underware would be a bit weird.

I honestly don't understand why guys do that... Swimsuits are designed a certain way and it's so they can be worn without underwear. But I guess everyone has their preference, for me though I find it kind of pointless.

I don't but I know some of my friends do. A couple friends wear their boxers under their board shortrs and a couple other friends wear their boxer briefs under their swim trunks

I never understood why some boys choose to do that when board shorts and swim shorts are made to be worn without under garments. I go commando in my board shorts and swim shorts all the time.

I am not always a fan of the inner lining so sometimes I will cut it out then wear underwear/compression shorts underneath. or just wear a pair of athletic shorts with underwear/compression shorts under neath those

I see swim trunks as a substitute for underwear, and always have really. They have lining in them for a reason. Same goes with compression shorts for running and any other swimming suit.

In addition if you wear common underwear under your swim trunks and go swimming, the underwear will absorb water, making it uncomfortable for you and adding a bunch of weight.

Case in point, my advice is to never wear underwear under swim trunks.

I just wear swim trunks. They have a built in lining. I think it would be weird to wear undies under a swim suit.

Well I don't wear underwear under most of my swim trunks but there are few that I do, the mesh lining in those few is very rough and it irritates the head of my penis.
