Talking to this girl

Hi All,

My name is Matthew, I'm 16. I'm looking for advice on talking to this girl who I like. I would say we're friends already, and we text each other a few times a week. I'm also taking her to my school prom, as a friend. We've both now finished school and haven't really texted much. When we do text it is just 'Hello' 'How are You?' 'What have you been doing?' - I don't know how to start a proper conversation. When we talk in person it is good, but by text I don't know what to talk about.

So I'm looking for some advice on what to talk about, and how to talk to her.

It seem best to bring up things she has talked to you that she's been working on. Even if it is as simple as a Sims4 game avatar. Like with my sweet girlfriend, I had this prob. But I saw it best to ask about stuff she seem to put a lot of work in. From then on you can give support, ideas, crack jokes and branch off in to other stuff.

Talk about stuff that she is interested in. Don't just talk about stuff you like. She might feel like you don't care about what she likes. Talk about things you both like, and try to connect with her by bringing up stuff you both enjoy. That way you make it known to her that you both have things in common with each other. Bring up memories too. I like it when a guy brings up memories of the good ol' days lol. And, if you want to, maybe ask her if she'd like to go out to dinner or a movie or something sometime. That way, she'll know that you may be interested in her. Don't be pushy about it though or she'll be weirded out. I really hope this helps!! Let me know how it goes between you guys!!

I can not flirt for shit, unless i'm drunk or high. Because if it goes wrong i'll just say i wasn't in my own head, every time it has gone well, except for 1, were she had a boyfriend so i backed up quickly... idk but i'm single now so i don't have the best advice. find out if she likes anyone, the best way is to be alone with her and play some shit like truth or dare, or some shit
