for many years I have been confused if I am trans or just a tomboy as since the age of 12 I shop exclusively in the mens section, even starting to wear mens underwear....when I was 14 i got a boy haircut but am in the process of growing it out due to bullying and people calling me a butch lesbian ( I like guys).
I know I am a girl, I have never felt like im in the wrong body although if I could go back and choose I would be a boy.
I dont think im trans as I dont think i would ever get surgery,
what do you think?

I think it might just be a temporary question, a fantasy. Sometimes when you think about something in a second, you hang on to that though for a long time. Why, if I dare to ask, would you like to be a boy instead of a girl?

I'm exactly like you. I would like to wear tuxedos and dress like a boy. I would NEVER be caught wearing any dress or any type of girl clothing. I wear boxers. I'm a cross dresser. It seems to me that you are, too.

FlyOnTheWall,
That one gender ought to dress a certain way is a societal construct with which I don't have a huge problem. The problem, for me, arises when people get angry or insulting towards those who dress out of line with such a construct. People should be allowed to dress how they want.
You could be a cross-dresser. People usually think that's mostly odd if you're a boy dressing as a girl. For women wanting to dress as men, society seems, at least to me, a bit more lenient.
A transgender person mentally feels like another gender than the one which matches his or her birth sex. You said that you know you're a girl, so I wouldn't say you are transgender.
Even a girl that wears somewhat boyish clothes I wouldn't call a "crossdresser." I'd say you were a cross-dresser though since you said you cut your hair to a typically male cut or if you have any other physical features that are uniquely and typically associated with masculinity.
If male fashion styles and features are the kinds of styles you want to embrace naturally, then you could be a cross-dresser.

If you are 100% sure your 100% girl then ignore this next paragraph, if not continue reading. Maybe your a demigirl? Demigirl is close to being a girl, but not exactly. You'd basically gender wise -not sex wise- be majority feminine, and a mix of something else or nothing else. Most people never experience dysphoria due to their gender being this one.
You do seem to be a possible cross dresser, nothing wrong with that. If you naturally drift that way then do it. A cross dresser seems to be most likely of the choices here. Since your comfortable with your body, not sure if your trans, and your certain your a girl. Though I'm just wondering, have you heard of drag kings?

I think it's useless to ask you many questions.
Dress like you want, but you must feel good in your clothes.
I'm a transboy so if you want to talk about that you can send me a message :)
