Djokovic beats Andy Murray to win the French Open

Djokovic won the French Open today, winning 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 against Andy Murray.

Not only is this Djokovic's first French Open win, he became the first person since 1969 to win four consecutive Grand Slam titles, the eighth man to complete the Grand Slam, and alzo the first man since 1992 to win two Grand Slam titlrs in the same calendar year.

Well done Djokovic!

Saw some of it today - not much interested in tennis, but don't like Murray much already, and my sister hates him to the point of not liking explicit or implicit reference to him :P .

Me too! But Federer will hopefully be back in better health for Wimbledon and the rest and that's what matters ultimately.

It was a fairly long match and honestly, Murray sustained much longer than i had expected him to against Djokovic.
And with Nadal and Federer out of the game, Djokovic's victory was almost unsurprising.
