My parents have different apartments so my brother and I usually are separated. If we do need to share a room (or a bed, sometimes) it's not really a problem. I actually slept in my brothers room last night

I don't have any siblings. But many of my friends do, and most of them share a bedroom. They usually get along pretty good, unles there's like a big age difference. But even then, they always seem closer than the guys who don't share a room.
They also seem more open about stuff to

I don't have any siblings. I wouldn't like sharing a room with anyone.

I share a room with my younger brother. As I've said in other posts, there is another bedroom available but we, for whatever reason, enjoy sharing the room. We have great conversations when we're together in our room and it's gotten to the point we can tell each other anything.

I the same way, and I've always wished I had a brother I could share a room with

Like I just said, this ^^ that's what it's all about, that's what kinda friendship I'd of loved to have with a brother. You bro's are really fortunate ya no?

When I was younger, from 7-12ish I shared rooms with my sister. Sometimes it could be hell for me because of noises she did at night, or how poorly organized it was, or the constant fighting...
My girlfriend shares her room with me now, does that count? :p

Shared a room with my older brother or sister since I can remember. I don't know what it would be like to have a room of my own.

Being able to masturbate in the peace and quiet of your own room for starters.

That would be cool. Tho my family's never been shy about being seen naked I think whacking off in front of somebody would raise an eyebrow.

I don't think so. I've seen my mom & dad naked from time to time since I can remember. My brother doesn't seem to mind being seen naked at all and I've been skinny dipping with my sister and cousins, tho my sister is older now and is more private. I grew up this way and I understand most families aren't but it wasn't until a few years ago that I realized they weren't. Other cultures are more relaxed about nudity and other cultures more repressed. I've notice the more repressed cultures tend to be more violent.

Wow thats weird for me but normal for u. I've seen my moms boobs but not her vagina and I dont want to lol. I mean if guys can show their chests so can girls but i think that crotches should be hidden. Its just my opinion.

This past year is the first time my best friend (my brother) and I have not shared a bedroom and bathroom. (I'm at college and he is still in HS.) Looking forward to him moving back in with me. I really have missed our time together.

I share with my older sister, which is rather annoying. We get on more like acquaintances than siblings, she has her life and I have mine. We change in the dressing room separately and neither of us engage in or even talk about anything sexual. It's peaceful I guess, but I gave up trying to be close to her a couple of years back. Unfortunately I don't think sharing with my brother would be an advisable option xD.

We still masturbate in peace and quiet in our room. It's not like we're both in it 24/7. We both know the other masturbates. And my brother has never been inhibited anyway. He pretty much takes care of business as needed lol.

I would think not. I shared with my sister when we were younger and yes, she got on my nerves. Distance makes better friends.
Maybe we should introduce your sister to my older brother. They sound alike.

*ahem, glances at my signature*
Your older brother sounds mean though, and extremely insecure... My sister and I are just distant but we don't fight or hate each other. It's a bit like sharing with a stranger...

He doesn't put enough effort into it to be mean. The only word I can think of is deprecating. He acts like most other people are just beneath his - whatever. Except the group he hangs with, whom he pretends are the most cool, but of course they're not any cooler than anybody else but he doesn't see that. He still treats our sister like a little girl with sticky hands so he's turned the two of us against him - not that he cares.
That being said, I do remember moments when he was a real person.

How old is he? Sometimes teens go through weird phases so maybe as he grows up that real person will return, you'll all laugh about him xD. For some that stage doesn't come till late twenties though... Often brought about by a proper relationship and career. So don't hold your breath just yet :D

He's 18 but he's always acted that way, like I was some kind of embarrassment to have around.

I have shared my room with my little bro, but never on a consistent basis. It's usually when my grands or another close family members come for a visit. All I can say is that it's most inconvenient.
