It's just the body's way of natural lubrication...it naturally is preparing the penis for sex. Some guys produce little to none or maybe you will begin to produe it in the future.

Me too. I'm not understanding why it happens for some but not others.

This ^^^. Don't worry you should begin to make more. I don't really make any either.

I don't produce much either and I'm almost 20, don't worry it'll come for us.

When you get an erection you may produce some "pre-cum" (mostly water with some fluids from your prostate gland and a tiny bit of sperm) that kinda leaks out of the head. Its a form of natural lubrication, but not everyone produces it and some produce more than others. It also usually doesn't happen until later in puberty and onward, but again everyone is different so there's no reason to worry if you don't produce it.

Some people don't have precum. It dosent really matter to much. All it is is a natural lube.

It is the male's natural lubricant for the penis before sex...usually followed by cumming. It happens when a guy gets sexually aroused. Although, I must tell you. It is highly chanced that it may contain sperm, a study was done on this. They found that it can contain just as much (yes, and less than) or more, than actually ejaculate fluid, so even if you think it is "okay, it's not actual semen, I never actually cummed", PLEASE for you safety and your partners, please use protection. That is all I must say!

It is mostly fluid from the bulbo urethral glands. It's purpose is to pave the way for the cum itself. It lubricates but most importantly corrects the pH of the urethra, the tube through your penis, to make it safe for the sperm as urine is acidic and sperm need an alkaline environment.

Just about everybody gets it but the quantity varies and for some people there is not so much of it that it starts to leak out the end of the penis hence it remains invisible. You also tend to produce more of it if you are aroused for longer before cumming.

You're OK. I find if I go for a "quick session", I don't get any either. If I spend an hour or two on the laptop looking at stuff, I can end up with loads.

The answer would be kind of the same as if you said "I'm not understanding why one guy has chest hair and another guy doesn't." It could be that the guy without chest hair will get it later but just hasn't grown any yet. Or it could be that even when he's an adult he won't have chest hair. Not every guy has a hairy chest.

I had a pretty detailed discussion about precum with some of my friends, and it ranged from one guy who never got any to a guy who got so much that it has soaked through his jeans a couple times when he's just holding hands or kissing his girlfriend. The rest of us were in between those amounts.

A little Wiki search goes a long way...
"Acidic environments are hostile to sperm. Pre-ejaculate neutralizes residual acidity in the urethra caused by urine, creating a more favorable environment for the passage of sperm. The vagina is normally acidic, so the deposit of pre-ejaculate before the emission of semen may change the vaginal environment to promote sperm survival.
Pre-ejaculate also acts as a lubricant during sexual activity, and plays a role in semen coagulation."

It's just a little cum that comes out to prepare you for a big load.

DarkHorse4eva

Pre-cum or pre-ejaculate is a water like lubricant which is used to clear the urethra of acidic urine and provide as a lubricant for the semen that is ejaculated. As for pre-cum it usually does not contain any sperm and only serves to protect the sperm, and is secreted right before ejaculation... But, not everyone secretes it but you do have it.
