A couple of days ago, I saw Trump (or the ourangutan) do a speech about his opinions on the CFCs. Of course, since he is a republican, he would probably deny anything proven by science and would probably opt for religion instead.He actually said that if he simply closes the windows in a room, the CFCs would have no way of getting to the atmosphere! That being said, many republicans often lie about their beliefs because they would lose votes. Do you think Trump lies about him not believing the CFCs exist, or do you think he is truly a man of God?

I dont think hes lying, I think hes actually that stupid. As for religion, yes Trump is lying about it its pretty obvious, no other republicans dont lie about it they are actually that stupid. Many democrats lie about their religious belives to not lose votes.

Could we have the decency to not descend into a battle of religious views and their absences?

I believe we are meant to talk about Trump and his view of how problematic CFCs are.

Debating a politician's regard for a class of chemicals and what that means for the standard of his thinking and arguments, not GOD itself.

My angle is that CFCs here are just a side addition to his double standards on how he sees human-'made' climate change is not real, and the building of a protective sea wall at a golf course he owns, defended by reference to climate change.
