My sister likes my Lee Riders jeans. Yeah, so do I and they're expensive. We're the same waist size and she just rolls up the cuffs so she borrows my jeans when she wants to. Okay but I want those back.

My dad says I "dote" on her and we're like a couple of old married people and she takes advantage of that. She says pleeeez and can I keep 'em for a while & I'll give them back and acts cute but I want them back and don't want to create an argument. Yeah, I know I'm a pushover.

Any ideas?

If my sister dared touch my clothes there would be a murder! Jk I'm not that strict about it:') Just make it clear you reallyyy don't want to share.

I don't mind sharing. I never did. She's just keeping that pair all the time and they're also my favorite pair. I know, I know I ought to just man up and take them back, but I like hanging with her and I feel like she's using that.

Seems like a little thing, I guess I'm just mad at her being inconsiderate. (Also I want to wear my jeans)

When she's not wearing the jeans... Get them! And hide 'em. Problem solved!

Also, what's the point of expensive jeans? I honestly don't know and am curious.

That always works, or you could offer to go halves on a pair just for her.

as expensive as levis can be sometimes, that would be the generous way to go

I offered to buy her some Lee Riders for her bday but the ones they make now are all women's jeans and mom got mine at a outlet mall cuz they're closed out. Meaning they don't make them like this any more. She likes those for the same reason I do - they feel good. She says the ones for girls don't fit her right so she likes mine.
Okay. If I could find some I would get some for her but she's honest and says she likes them better because they're mine!
It's just a pair of jeans but they're my favorite and the point is she's being inconsiderate. It's kind of special cuz were kind of best friends and I don't like this going on.

That's cool your that close I guess, but I can see your point to. I got my favorite pair of jeans that fit just right to. Isn't there a song about that? Huh?

Ok, seriously now, all good advise, so here's what you do. Go shopping with her, get we to find a pair of jeans she loves, and but them for her. Don't tell her this is the plan, just do it. Then buy another pair for yourself, because your old ones may be worn out now, and if she takes yours again, you'll still have a pair

Lol I have the same problem with my brother. He likes my clothes so he's always taking them without me knowing and I have to find and washe them if I want to wear them.

*sigh*

If it's any consolation, she looks much better in them than you do.

Tell her they make her bum look big.

You should just talk to her about it, say 'I don't care how cute you're being, don't look at me like that, I don't wear your clothes'. Make a joke of it but be firm. You say you're worried about it affecting your relationship, but if she's going to stop hanging out over a pair of jeans, then you two aren't as close as you think.

Maybe wrestle her for them. Hey, whatever works :D.

Just keep in mind who you are talking to, don't be mean, be firm and it'll all work out. All about them genes ;)

How do you know? It's true tho.

Tell her they make her bum look big.

They don't.

I thought about that. It's not the jeans, it's what she's doing. Maybe it is the jeans.

Maybe wrestle her for them. Hey, whatever works :D.

Wouldn't work, I'd let her win.

Just keep in mind who you are talking to, don't be mean, be firm and it'll all work out. All about them genes ;)

Make a rent policy for the jeans, every day she has them more than 50% of the time, charge $10 a day.

Or find a new pair of jeans that fit you.

If my sister took my clothes, I woukd let them have them, just to annoy her because she is like half my size. Now for you, if all diplomacy fails, get them back and put a lock on the wardrobe.

You gave me the idea.

I gave her the damn pants. Boy, was she shocked. And pleased. She gave me a long hug and said she loves me & I'm the greatest brother, etc.

She borrows my flannel long sleeve winter shirts, too, but I'm not giving them to her. Tho I do like the way she looks in them when she rolls up the sleeves and ties the tails together in front. She looks like Rosie the Riveter.

Well if you feel strongly about it stand your ground and tell her no more borrowing my clothes. Sharing is good but if you want it to stop grow a pair and stop it.
