I'm always exhausted when I wake up in the mornings and I basically feel like a lazy slug every morning. In fact, I feel tired at school until 7th period, when I have track. After I run track I feel refreshed, although tired haha, and I've lost that ugh feeling. And then I go home and go ride, and I feel great, until I wake up the next morning.
Does anyone have any ideas of a simple workout I can do every morning to get my blood flowing and wake me up? Nothing too hard, as I have track (hurdles and sprints)/riding every day (except sunday) and I don't think my body can take too much more exercise.

Yoga might help to loosen up your muscles. There's a list of basic beginner's poses available here (http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-682/Yoga-Poses-for-Beginners-Howto-Tips-Benefits-Images-Videos.html) and they're quite gentle.

Head in a bucket of ice. That'll wake you. Try a jog for 15 to 20 minutes

I do a 5k run, proceeding yoga, and I do the rest of my yoga routine afterward. Then some quick meditation and then breakfast/shower and school.

Pushups might be good, I don't have time or energy to run any extra haha
I'll take a look at the yoga! Thank you (:

Jumping squats, or air squats or whatever you wanna call them. Do like 40 in the morning, and it actually warms you up quite fast so it's really good in winter as well :)
