So I've finally plucked up the courage to make an appointment at my GP. It is for my tight foreskin and was nervous about having to inevitably show it to a doctor. How should I start the appointment and how will the doctor touch me. Will I have to show it soft and hard.

The doctor will probably do all the things
u said-if u do have a prob-u should not b
apprehensive with seeing him-doctors have
seen everything so it might b uncomfortable
but just forget what he has to do-its for ur
own benefit.

It is so not a big deal for this appointment, and your issue is really common. Since you have a problem with your foreskin the doctor will obviously need to see it both soft and hard. The doctor will try to retract your foreskin which will be uncomfortable just to get an idea where you stand. Honestly, the whole examination is really not bad, and you should not get nervous to show your penis. After all, the doctor is there to help you, and the more information he/she has, then the better outcome you will have. Just be honest about what's going on, and you'll be fine. No one is there to judge you or make you feel badly.

Hey, don't worry.
You will have a little chat with your GP beforehand, and then she/he will tell you to show it (maybe a bit less blunt). I think that you will only have to show your dick soft, but I don't know, maybe hard to show that the foreskin is a problem then. She will try to pull back your foreskin- NOTE, make sure to tell her if you feel ANY pain whatsoever. Then, she will try to find a solution.

I think the doctor will need to see it but I suspect he will ask you to demonstrate the problem rather than touch you himself. I don't think there is any other way than to "grasp the nettle". The doctor will have had people come to him before will all kinds of embarassing issues, almost certainly including this one, so he won't be phased by it. There's no point in beating around the bush you just have to tell him what the problem is. I bet as soon as you have done that you'll start to relax a bit more.

It's good that you're going to see a doc about that. I had the same thing and didn't get it fixed for a while, and it sucked. You'll probably have to have your pants dropped for most of the time you're there, but I don't think he'll have to see it hard. Can you pull it back when you're soft?

It comes back a lot further when soft but not all the way. And it's harder to take it back when hard.

I'm pretty sure he'll the doctor will be able to guage what the doctor need to see while your soft. Besides, it your telling him it hurts, he's gota believe you, why would you say you were when you don't, so probably no real reason to get hard to show him
Just relax and be yourself and try not to worry, it's only a dick, it won't hurt anyone.

your doctor has certainly examined a lot of dicks before. So, just trust him and ask him any questions you want.

I had the same issue (more or less), and showing it soft was enough. I don't expect you'll have to get hard. Personally, I am so nervous at the doctor anyhow that getting an erection was never in the cards.

Well if there's still a problem with it soft, that's probably all the doctor needs to see. I guess you could always just ask him if he wants to see it both ways (or if you start getting hard from them touching it, can just say you thought they needed to see it that way ;) )

I can't imagine a doctor would ever ask to see a hard dick.
