for as long as i can remember all the other kids hated me. i'd try to make friends but then boom, when i step out of the 'norm' for every one the shun me. 9th grade is almost over, my granny and great granny are older, kids tease me for being gay and it's mean and/or sexual, and i'm lonely. i just wish i had friends. nobody understands the troubles i'm going through. but granny she's always told me 'other people have it worst' but now that i'm typing this it feels like i'm lying to you that all the shit that i'm going through is normal. and i'm sorry for not being on here you guys give me comfort and support :) okay peace :metal: lol

I've had the same issues. In 7th grade I spent 7 months in Laren (Super posh village in Holland) and I had no friends there and got bullied a lot (I was playing Runescape a lot because that game had a community that was kind to me). The stuff you're going to is normal to some people, but is still an issue. However, as the years go by (around 10th/11th grade), kids become a lot more understanding and helpful. You just gotta try to hang in there and you'll find someone that doesn't care that you're gay. Good luck bro. Also, try to see if you can get any girls as friends. They can be a lot more supportive and understanding than guys. Also, the community of VTF is here for you if you need it.
P.S. I hope you don't think I'm belittling your issues. That is not my intention.

i have also been through this whole thing of being made to feel lonely, especially when you are different from them... but trust me, by the end of your school you will definitely have some great friends with you! it may seem improbable now but just be yourself and try to be friendly with everyone.... be happy with yourself and once you have accepted yourself i m sure others will also do so... and ya, try to be friends with girls as well... girls are a generally more understanding and gentle as friends... good luck!
