Does anyone else have a boyfriend who refuses to take his socks off during sex? It doesn't matter where we are, time of day or season, he never takes them off. I think it's gross and less intimate. I started talking to some of friends about this and some told me that they even sometimes leave there socks on. The only time I have ever done this was in the car and that's so we could get dressed quicker if someone came.

It's going to sound weird, but I kind of have a sock fetish. It's cute to be honest. Bras are different, they're covering an actual sexual and private part, where the foot is not an organ that is part of or related to the reproductive system. But I respect your preference, everybody is different and clearly you simply don't like socks on. I personally like socks on, but I really couldn't care less as I kind of just like feet in general. To me it's all about the skin on skin contact. If I brush up against his feet for some reason I want to feel skin, not smelly socks that have been in shoes all day. If you're doing it right, you shouldn't have to worry about lack of warmth :)

For all the boys that don't think it's a big deal, have you ever stopped and looked at yourself in the mirror? A naked boy in just his socks looks absolutely ridiculous. Especially if they aren't white ankle socks.

I can understand why some guys would find a cute pair of ankle socks or knee socks sexy on a girl because of the whole school girl thing, but when my ankles are resting on your shoulders, I'm sure you would rather be feeling skin and not fabric.

Doesn't matter to me, the main issue is the socks and feet must not be smelly.

If the feet and socks are washed and he soaks his feet in vinegar it gets rid of the odor.

Socks are more common between us in winter, a lot less common in summer.

I don't consider myself naked unless I take off socks or shoes if I'm wearing them. I agree that its more intimate if your boyfriend would take off his socks. If i'm with a girl during sex I would expect her to take her socks and shoes off. Would totally be a turn off and kind of rude.

I can't answer your question, but I can add another perspective. I can't not wear socks. My hands and feet both have really rough skin and they don't hold moisture well. The socks act as a barrier between my feet and the air, allowing them to hold on to their moisture more effectively and to keep them from drying up to the point where it's extremely irritating. Hell, I pretty much wear my shoes all day. I can sleep with them no problem if I wanted to.
