Sad to see that Ted Cruzumaki's dream of becoming Hokage of the United States is over.

Thoughts, that probably everyone is thinking.
Sanders needs to drop out now. He's had his fun. I imagine Clinton will be able shift back to the centre without endangering her chance in the primaries - but Sander's continued existence is going to make that unnecessarily difficult.
Watching Trump attempt to start making in-roads into the centre will be interesting. Though whether he needs to will depend on how well Clinton holds up to the incoming defamation campaign.
It's also going to get painful listening to all the trade-politics rhetoric. I heard though that a countries strength can be judged by it's reserves of gold.
I'll also be watching to see if Trump can make inroads with the blacks. His campaigning to lower competitive pressures on the working class should affect them disproportionately, so one would expect it.
I'll also take Trump to Cruz any day.
And the Trumplet/Sandroid lemmings just continue running towards the cliff...
Trump or Clinton?
(I understand you probably despise both.)

Ohio Governor John Kasich has dropped out of the presidential race after struggling to gain traction against Republican front-runner Donald Trump, US media report.

I'm no fan of any of them, but I'd take Hillary over both Sanders and Trump. What I really hope happens is the FBI recommends indictment for Hillary, Sanders gets the nomination, and disenfranchised moderates from both parties create a third party.

Even if this is the case, as far as I'm aware there's no history of those committed of what Clinton's done receiving jail time, that I'm aware of.
Odds are, she'd still be able to run, just tainted.
---
I also want the same to happen, and then we can have Bloomberg.
But so far as it won't, I'll take the crook we know over the crook we don't know.
What worries me about Trump more than anything is that his populism leaves him liable to be entirely unpredictable as a President.

Perhaps it is not so bad if things have simplified on the Republican front.
*Allowing myself some reassuring reasoning even if it won't make much of a difference to the future of my reaction to this ongoing multi-event*

"DEAR LORD JESUS PLEASE DON'T LET LITERAL HITLER DESTROY THE COUNTRY" -paraphrased quote from someone who may or may not be my mom
I would gloat and all but there's no time for that, too much work ahead of us these next few months. I don't want Sanders to drop out now or ever, what he needs to do is run as an independent and siphon votes away from the Dread Hillthulhu or this country is as DONE as Rafael "ANNIHILATED" Cruz's campaign.
the thing about Hilldabeast is that you don't need to smear her with slanderous fabrications when there's so much dirt on her that's actually true. I admit I'm quite looking forward to the day when somebody finally uncovers her hitlist and she gets charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

perhaps after the Libertarian Party loses its 420th election in a row it will sink in that the working class isn't interested in playing Death Race: Free Market and reinventing themselves on the fly as soon as the market no longer needs them, or eating Bitcoin if they can't.

I dunno guys...
He seems to be pretty pro-minority now I think I like him.
Jk, although he is better than Cruz, I'd rather see a Democrat win in this race. All I can say is that I'm happy we have term limits.
