A while back a posted to find out if anyone know how to fall out of love well, through some sort of supplement or medcine. This is the post http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2024167
Anyways, I found the solution and I was looking out the wrong chemical when I should have been looking for libido. Anywho the solution I found is a supplement called Chasteberry. It lowers libido which controls the sex drive. This supplement has been used since medieval times for chastity hence the name.
So hopefully this should work to reduce or even better get rid of sex drives. For those of us who find it a nuisance. If you have any questions feel free to ask below!

According to this article (https://nccih.nih.gov/health/chasteberry) from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, the primary use of the chasteberry is to treat irregularities in the menstrual cycles of women; furthermore, the article notes that the "fruit" can cause "gastrointestinal problems, acne-like rashes, and dizziness."
From what I'm reading, it seems that its ability to tame sexual desires is a tale that has been passed down for years; it could just be placebo for monks and celibates.
Most institutions seem to agree that it's primarily used for women, though.

Yeah the bottle itself says that but, it doesn't list all the uses. One of the effects is to lower libido. It's in the name Chaste Berry= Chastity berry. I've been taking it for two days and I believe I feel the effects. But you're correct it may be a placebo effect but I don't care as long as it works.

What if there isn't any lust involved? I'm asexual so I've never experienced lust for another person before, but I've had this stubborn crush on the same straight girl for two and a half years now and it'd be nice to do away with once and for all.
Otherwise though, I think this is really interesting and informative. Kudos to you for doing all this research. :)

Thanks and currently there really aren't any drugs out there to lower oxytocin. Fortunately I've mastered how to stop liking someone. My methods can be harsh. Simply cut them off for a period of time. Or tell them you have a crush on them and ask if you have a chance with them. Pray that she says no because then you have no reason to like her anymore!

I've tried the "ask if you have a chance" method. Sadly even the answer of no wasn't enough to ruin my crush.

Sounds painful, but if it works I might try it. The problem is, the girl's still a good friend and I don't want to lose her.
