Underwear and swimming

Since summer is coming up, I was wondering if anybody wears underwear under their swim trunks. Personally, I don't because I think it's uncomfortable. But if you do:
-What type of underwear do you wear
-Why do you do it
-Do your friends do it
-Where do you go swimming

I've never had underwear on when swimming. I swim in a team, and we can't really do that, but i wouldn't want to anyways.

trunks come with a mesh pouch to hold ur
equipment. I have board shorts that I use
as trunks that also have a pouch. Speedos
don't have any pouch but u know how they
look like on some guys-u have to have a nice
package-tho.

I honestly find that a little weird, swim shorts were designed to be worn without underwear so I don't really see the point.

I wear boxers under my board shorts because they have no net, and sometimes the board shorts are a lil see through. ive never been uncomfortable.

those stupid nets are the worst, so irritating and uncomfortable. and I saw some article where a boy almost lost his penis cuz it got caught in a hold in his trunk net. so no nets for me

I wear underwear when I go swimming. but I make sure they're boxer briefs & the athletic kind too. I wear them bc I don't get regular bathing suits, I get board shorts bc I think they look & feel cooler.

If I am just hanging out at the pool I wear swim trunks with the insert. But for swimming I wear jammers and don't wear anything underneath.

I usually go commando under my shorts. It just feels better. A bunch of my friends do too. Sometimes we go to the pool near us or we go to the beach.

Never heard of cutting out the lining, but interesting. Lining or not, don't wear undies with swimtrunks.

When we swim at school I wear speedos or jammers so of course no underwear.
But when I'm hanging out at the pool or the beach I usually wear board shorts and they don't have a net, so I wear underwear (boxer briefs or compression shorts) under them because when you get out of the water and your shorts are wet your bulge is clearly visible, and I don't want it to show as much. Most of my friends do the same, it's pretty common here.

I sometimes wear underwear underneath, but it is also because I don't like the lining which comes in a lot of board shorts/swim trunks. I try to get them without the lining or take out the lining when I get them

I'm the same..too much fabric under your swim gear. But I do knoe some of my friends wear underwear under theirs.
