I'm 15 and already have some hair on my chest. Sometimes I'll get teased or jokes made about it, since I know I am more hairy than a lot of other guys my age. I've got used to it now and I'm cool with it, but for a while I wasn't and would try to shave my chest and treasure trail. Any other guys experience this? If so, how did you deal with people giving you a hard time?

People where im from never really comment on each other's body hair so its hard for me to say...but you could mostly just ignore them and like what you have because im sure they have those things too

Personally, i've always had leg hair and a treasure trail, and people have just asked about it really. They're surprised, and possibly jealous... I am comfortable enough with my body to be able to just keep the leg hair and the treasure trail.
PM me if you need,

Anyone ribs u about chest hair is jealous
and don't let it get to u. I don't have any yet
but have a trail and I can tell a lot of girls and
guys eye it. Usually the guys that don't have one.
Id b proud of the chest hair unless u turn into a
gorilla then I would think that u may feel like shaving
it a bit. Don't shave ur trail ive been told it is the sexist
thing.

I think it's weird that they tease you over it because in most places it's something that people are to some extent proud of. You should have just done whatever you wanted and not shaved it just because they thought you should.

Dude, men are supposed to have hair, that is why men are men and not women.

Yeah I'm very hairy on my legs mostly and I got a little teased by that so once in a while I trim the hair on my legs. I find it stops though because others catch up to you and there's not much of a difference eventually.

Well, tease might be a strong word. They would tease me but not really in a mean way, just more like joking around about it. But it still made me want to shave it at first. Now I like it.

I didn't have this with chest hair because my familar heritage is not particularly hairy so it wasn't until about 17 that I had enough to be noticable and by then I think guys are less into that kind of teasing.
In other ways, though, I was an early developer so I did get teased about having pubic hair and about having a big cock (relative, as mine had started to grow and many of theirs hadn't). I don't think it was intended to be nasty and I didn't let it get to me - I thought it was just a bit silly, really. I am not sure if it was jealousy or just part of a natural tendancy to mock those who are a little different. The latter people should be educated out of.
I must admit I do have reservations about the popularity of shaving parts of the body other than the face. Obviously it is up to guys what they want to do but if it is to effectively pretend to be less developed than you are in order to fit in with other people's expectations of you I am not sure that is a good thing to be doing.

I had a snail trail I year 7 so age 12/13 didn't think much untill swimming at school so I would shave it. By year 8 I knew others like me so gave up shaving. Probably my legs embarrassed me the most cos the hair but I'm used to it down.

I knew what you meant. I still think that it's a bizarre situation because that's usually what most guys idolise :D

I have a pretty good amount of hair, but it's light colored so you don't really see it. That's kinda weird that people made comments about it tho.

1st: hairy or not it all due to your genetic and there it really nothing you can do to fix it, even if you shave it gonna grow back again.
2nd: all the people that teased you either r ignorants or just your good friends and they love to tease you. In either way, they not affected you at all so pay no mind.
3rd: personally I don't think hair is a bad thing, look up on the internet "sexy hairy man", you will be amazed:cool:

Yes!!! I had pubes before all my friends and I was made fun of. I have more leg and arm hair too but everyone evened out. I shaved my happy trail because other guys said they did so I did when I got home. I don't know because I think it looks good. I do shave my pubes however.

I can’t speak for myself but I have a friend who had a totally hairy chest and stomach in grade 8 when we were like 13-14. You had to say something. Cuz otherwise it would just be awkward like it was impossible not to notice. We would joke around that he must have started puberty in grade 2 but we never said anything mean.

You know what man? I think a lot of it just comes down to confidence and owning it... I was the first guy in my class to get leg hair in 5th grade, and I was probably the last boy you would pick to be an early bloomer, I was smaller than practically every kid in class, quiet/shy And I wasn't really that early of a bloomer, I didnt have any other signs of puberty yet, voice was still high, wasn't into girls yet... Anyways, I went to private school and we had a dress code, and uniform shorts were only allowed through October and then not until April, so I sprouted between fall and spring... And I didn't think too much about it until other kids started commenting, and then I got self conscious and started shaving and trying to not wear shorts and that just made way more problems, cause it went from joking around to getting made fun of... Eventually I just learned to roll with it, by the time 6th grade started I just started to become more comfortable with myself and if somebody said something I just laughs and shrugged it off. I admit, I have generally been ahead of the curve with body hair and when something new sprouts I have always been a little backward at first, I think because I was always the youngest in the class, plus never having an older brother or anything to walk me through puberty. A couple of years ago I started getting chest hair, it wasn't noticeable unless I had my shirt off so basically just a few people saw it, and one friend was like "hey man come on and take your sweater off before jumping in" but it was all in good fun and it didn't bother me, even though I kinda secretly wished one of my friends also had chest hair, I guess I've always wanted to blend in instead of standing out... And yeah it took a little getting used to last summer too because now I am showing a little hair when I wear a tank or v neck so its not just at the pool or my girlfriend seeing me... But I'm definitely just comfortable with it now ... People don't really say nothing, sometimes they look but that's ok, I am cool with my body now and like rocking shorts with hairy legs... It all comes down to confidence

I don't really have too much body hair, just pubes, pit hair, and a little bit of leg hair. Kinda prefer it that way tbh :)
