I wasn't sure where to put this but I decided to post it here.
So, I've recently got interested in game of thrones. The story and whole fantasy vibe really appeals to me and I've heard great things about it. So I really want to read the books...but my mum won't let me. She says that the sex stuff is too inappropriate. (She's okay with the violence.) It's really annoying as I really want to read them and I honestly have no interest in the sex parts. I don't even have plans to watch the TV show, I just want to read the books. I'm not sure why she is being like this anyway as she usually lets me watch explicit movies and stuff. It's just she doesn't want me going anywhere near game of thrones for some reason. (She watches the show and really likes it.) I have also read books with pretty graphic sutff in them. So how can I convince her to let me read it?
