White Day, I'm guessing most of you wouldn't have heard of it. So I will explain! Kawaii time starts now~ <3

Ok, so White Day is on March 14, and it is not very well known outside Japan. The purpose of the event is for guys to return the chocolates they received on Valentines Day. Well, by return, (I'm doing somewhat a translation from Japanese) I mean they give chocolates to the girls who gave them chocolates. Well, guys you could also be a bit creative and give something else, :yeah: maybe if you really like the girl and she likes music then you could dedicate a song to her? Ok, I got carried away, sorry!! ( ̄◇ ̄;) Have I explained everything? I think that's about it, but then a warning, don't give a girl a smaller return gift than what you received, there's nothing wrong with that but then yeah it's a stereotype.... Ok?

Kawaii time over~ <3

So tell me what you think of White Day, and if my explanation is unclear I will re-explain it again ✋👋✋👋

Japan= Awesome. I wish White day was a big thing around the world, but it's not even a thing outside of Japan. I like the idea a lot though.

Isn't this just Valentines Day? I don't get the difference.

Ok, Alex, so you know in Japan the boys normally wear gakuran (black jacket with 5 buttons) uniforms to school. It's not only stylish but it's also a sign of romance. On graduation day, a girl will ask the boy she likes for his second uniform button. If he likes her back he will give her the button, which is the closest to his heart. So basically it's like giving her a piece of his heart. Some extra information: 1st button is for best friend, 3rd, 4th, 5th buttons for good friends. ^^

It's different from Valentines day! Uguu~ white day is for boys to give chocolates to girls. Valentines is for girls to give chocolates to boys.

I didn't experience the button thing during graduation. The last Valentines I had in Japan I gave cheap chocolates to almost all guys I know and greeted them happy new year~ I just bought the best chocolates for important people like chichi ! (ww). I only gave a handkerchief to my crush and treat him for lunch. (─‿‿─) But, I really wished I could go to Sendai-shi and give a chocolate to Yuzuru Hanyu! ww. I've been watching him during Valentines. (I got carried away too, my bad ᕙ(`▽´)ᕗ ) Anyways, I know friends who receive chocolates from their boyfriends not just on White Day but also during Valentines, and after the date they also go to Purikura~
