what's the average amount of pubes a 14 year old normally has? like if you have a chart or something that'd be good. I know you can't give an exact number but just like how far up they grow. sorry if my question is confusing lol

I think it depends on a lot of things. I'm turning 15 next month and I only started growing pubes about eight months ago and mine are growing at a pretty good pace. My cousin just turned 11 and he started getting pubes just before he turned 10 and he has almost nothing.

That's not totally true. I am a freshman and at the beginning of this year I didn't really have any hair and I saw other guys in the locker room that we're still completely bald at 14th. And they were a lot of other guys that only had a sparse amount around their shaft

Yep some have full bush, but others at 14 haven't even started puberty yet. So it can be a very wide range. I'd say most have full bush tho, if they allow it to and don't shave/trim.

It's not totally true that's why I used the word "usually" instead of "always".

It's unfortunate to say but there isn't a fixed amount I can give because every guy goes through puberty differently. I can tell you though that it is common to start having pubes at the beginning of puberty.

when i waS 14 I had a full area but i have precocious puberty so i doubt thats the norm for everyone

There is no range for pubes. some people are just hairier than others and will have more while others will have less. At 14 I had a good amount and im on the hairier side. its all normal

I think it can vary a lot at 14, some guys have none yet and some almost look like adults, I had a fair amount that was starting to spread up to my trail at 14, but i also got hair early and I am on the hairier side too.

genetics do play a big part in your development. hopefully that's all it is. i have a hormone imbalance that has affected mine, but it's pretty rare according to my doc. just saying this to let others know there could be more than one reason.
