So I posted a my story earlier and I'd thought I'd update you all

So I asked her to FaceTime just 15 minutes ago and she said she was already skypeing someone.. So I said oh right.. That's okay. I then asked why she had changed so much? Like she wanted to talk before then it just turned so boring, she then dropped a bombshell that she had a bf :'( I'm so hurt, I was gonna try and meet her soon but that's not gonna happen now, even though I didn't know her that well, I kind of thought if I met her i could get something going.. Guess not :( should I even continue talking to her? IM SO CONFUSED

Sorry if I sound stupid but I guess I get attached to people and sometimes get the wrong idea, anyways thanks if you reply

Maybe you got the wrong idea, maybe she led you on. Regardless, only you know if you can get over it and stay on friendly terms. I know Aberdeen isn't great for meeting people your own age...

That being said, I am unsure if she was under the impression "meeting" meant a meeting with the intention to feel each other out for romantic purposes.

I have noticed that people tend to be opportunists when dating, and if they have an interest in someone, more often than not, they want the relationship to start ASAP, otherwise they will lose interest.

I don't know that many people who take their crushes "on hold" and actually do the "waiting" until the time is right.

I have mixed feelings about that as well but yeah...

Time waits for no person, but at the same time I think sometimes it's wiser to wait and it just depends on a case by case basis.

All I can say is bad luck. You had something going with her, but the opportunity never showed itself despite the circumstances being good. I read your other post, and as I said there as well, there's nothing you can do now beside getting up, and moving on. Just keep marching soldier, you'll have your glory one day
