Friends invites me to sleepovers but then he "Forgets" about it

Hi everyone
My friend used to invite me to his place for a sleepover at least once a week but he has like 3 weeks that tells me to have a sleepover at his place and then after 3 hours or when its getting late he just completely forgets about it.
Im okay if he would have done it once because he regretted the invite but not like 3 times in a row :(
I just dont know what to say to him, and if i tell him to come to my place instead, he will tell me that i should go to have a sleepover at his place today and then he acts like he hadnt said anything.
Should i say something to him?

It's worth a mention in conversation, I wouldn't say make a big deal out of it - just tell him that it's kind of irritating that he does this. It can't really hurt to just be honest in a friendship.

Yes i know that it is not that of a big deal but its just making me think why is he doing this?
I mean why would one say come have a sleepover and then just "forget" everything about it?

yeah, I think you should say something. You don't need to necessarily be mean about it, but just let him know it bothers you, and bring it to his attention. Honesty never hurts, and if you don't say anything, the situation has no chance of improving.

I think you should tell him something especially if the dude has done it to you several times. In my mind how can someone "forget" that he invited his good friend to sleep over? Stuff like that you don't forget! Believe me, if a friend did that to me twice there wouldn't be a third time. I would tell him that I have other plans.
