Firstly CONGRATS!!! And As for telling eachothers mums, that's completely up to you, you don't have to unless you want to. Does your mum no you're homosexual or not? If so it would be easier. If she doesn't then you don't have to, I haven't told my mum I'm bi because she's bordering on homophobic so that wouldn't be a good move. BUT you know ur mum, how do u think she'd take it?

If you're sure your mom doesn't have a problem with homosexuality, there's no problem in telling her. It's nice to be transparent with your parents.
