Question for girls about nips

My sister asked me not to put my arm around her like we do sometimes cuz her nipples are swollen and sore. I remember mind did too for a little while when the hormones kicked in. My question is how severe is it for a girl and how long does it last?

It can be extremely painful, kind of like frozen but without the numbness if that makes sense. Some girls experience it around their period, but it's common with early breast growth too. In terms of how long does it last, there's really no answer to that as everyone is different. Just bring her Icecream and hold off on the hugs till she gives the all clear.

Same here, it was worse when l first hit puberty though. They've become a little less sensitive as l've got older, either that or l'm getting more used to it.

Am I the only girl here who's nips (or breasts for that matter) don't get sensitive around that time? Sometimes I feel a tugging pain but it only lasts a second.

I'm not sure because I'm not a girl but I would think it's because she's just starting to develop

All depends on the girl. Like a couple of girls posted above me it's usually around their period or when their breasts are growing.

Like some have said it sometimes happens to me near my period, however it's been less frequent the last few years when compared to the times my body was really going through puberty.

It was worse when I was 12 or 13 but it can get a little sensitive now just before my period.
