In my same gender school, we have mandatory showers after P.E. in big open showers and have done since year 9 (about 13-14 years old). Most of us shower nude, in fact, you get teased more for wearing trunks or a shower cloth.

Mandatory open showers at my school unless parents write a note. Our showers are monitored because there were a couple of bullying incidents.

No that's just the way the PE teachers are. We've had mandatory showering from grade six till Grade 9. My dad says that it controls the modesty invoice period when he was in high school they had to take swimming completely nude

nothing wrong with it, pe coaches probably had to shower nude back when they were kids and everything, they don't care, they are just there to do a job. im open with myself and showering around other people at the gyms, too many people are close minded and worried about being seen naked by someone else lol.

It's not mandatory but in the last couple of years I have to shower afterwards if not I smell like crap. I don't know if it's just me but I have the feeling that the hairier you get the more you smell after sweating etc, like every hair, leg hairs, armpit hair, everything is keeping the sweat smell in your body and the only way to get it away is to shower and wash afterwards.

It was only mandatory at one of the 4 schools I've attended since 6th grade. And even that, it was just certain days. One school the showers was even turned into a place for extra lockers lol. But another place they were actually used a lot.

My coach told us that his boss ordered him to be in the locker room while we shower so we don't goof off or get hurt ... but he told us that he'd prefer not to see our small penises so he just told us not to goof off in there that way it's less awkward for everyone lol. And I agree, whenever a coach or other adult walks in the side door they get a perfect view into the showers and it's weird to be looked at by fully dressed adults when showering.

That's pretty much how it is for us. If we're goofing off a lot he basically is watching us shower but if we're not horsing around or anything like that he pretty much stays in his office

our coaches don't really watch but do look in, probably like others said to make sure nobody is messing around. them being dressed doesn't bother me. it doesn't seem like they're checking us out, but i can be a little too trusting sometimes too

Ya I mean idc about my coaches seeing me so much, they're all cool, I know they aren't pedos ... a few of my middle school PE teachers I'm not so sure about however lol. I still think it's weird to be seen naked by a clothed person regardless of the situation or if you trust the person or not ... I mean they can't help but take mental pictures of you when they see you that way lol. I mean I think that's why they'd rather not be in there too. But if they are made to be, that's not really a big deal, like I said, ultimately I trust them and they aren't staring and lurking lol.

Ya I once saw a thread about this on a forum and soooo many people thought the OP was a troll. Apparently this did used to happen, something about the suits that people used to wear would get stuck in the pool jets or something. But if you google it, it's hard to find info on it, it's almost like people are embarrassed of it or something idk.

You're right, no way this could remotely happen today! Naked everything is better, but that doesn't mean I would be down for it tho lol, too weird to do in a full class, with friends hell ya, but not the entire world smh haha

we have to take a shower which restarted when I was in the 7th grade to many of the teachers and girls were complaining about the boys stinking. we live in a small town so everyone knows everyone else it was scary the first time after that it was not a big deal. first time i was prepuberty and having to shower with the older guys was scary but they did not even seem to care or even look we just all showered and got dressed after drying off. seeing just about every kid in town has made me feel less insecure
