Because I'm straight I value my relationships with girls and treat them more seriously. If I'm just being curious with another guy it's more of a one-time thing so I don't really care what their number is. Whilst I find the way you expressed it rather crude, I agree with the sentiment about a double standard. It's the same as guys who sleep around being 'lads' and applauded for it, and girls being referred to as sluts (caveat in popular culture). Both are clearly what would be deemed 'slutty', and both are equally exposed to the negative consequences of such a pluralistic sexual approach, with the exclusion of pregnancy. Yet it is a one-sided perspective for a lot of people.

I'd be interested to here his defence of his opinion, but daring to disagree with someone else's opinion on here leads to mod involvement against you (saying this might actually lead to a warning). Especially if the opinion you are questioning was offensive. So just a heads up :lol:

Excuse me, if you're going to challenge my opinion first read ALL my responses to this thread. Like seriously, is it that hard for you to understand I value my relationships with other girls or do you always jump to conclusions just like that? First of all, I said I was straight, and HAD I BEEN CURIOUS I wouldn't care what a guy's number is. In case you don't want to read what I wrote in my previous reponses, I said I do care what a girl's number is because I value actual relationships with them. If a girl's number is high, I doubt the devotion this girl has to a relationship, while for a guy I'm just not gonna care about that since it's only experimentation. To me it's very important to gain trust over a long period of time with someone I'm romantically involved with before sex, and the fact they've had sex with many guys makes their trust that much harder to gain. Because it's only for experimentation I would have sex with a guy this means I don't have a romantic relationship with them, thus their number is insignificant (just in case I haven't said it enough times). I'm not being preferencial with guys, or going with the "double-standard" stated below by Clara, it's just because the relationships I have with guys and girls are very different, therefore the number of times they've had sex varies in importance.
