I have to go get a physical done in a few days and I'm getting kinda nerves as to how it's gonna go. What's some advice that I can expect them to do, did you get hard?

It totally depends on the doctor and the reason for the physical. If it's just a school physical then you probably just go down to your underwear and the doctor checks your eyes nose throat heartbeat that sort of thing. If it's for sports then he's probably going to do the hernia exam. If it's a sports physical there's a good chance that your boxers are coming down for at least a few seconds

I'm needing to get shots updated for school and they said I need to have a physical done also. If you've had one did you get a boner? Was it awkward?

I think if the doctor held my dick for another 5 seconds I was going to start getting hard. I think he could tell that it was starting to grow and he pulled my boxers back up. But the last time I had a physical I didn't have any pubic hair yet

My mom's a doctor and I've asked her about this before. She obviously gives physicals all the time and says erections are a normal response. She said it happens often enough but doctors don't think anything about it. It's all very clinical. You really shouldn't worry about it.

Even if you do get hard your boxers are only down for a couple seconds. he's basically just examining how you're developing as far as puberty and checking for a hernia

My Mom and Dad r doctors and they said usual
exam for teens is checking for a hernia. U drop
ur shorts and the doctor grabs ur junk and asks
u to turn ur head and cough-it takes less than
a minute-nothing to worry about. U don't have
to worry bout boners and doctors cause they have
done this hundreds of times and they know how
to handle--no pun--the situation.

But like I said if it's a cool doctor and they notice that you're starting to get erect he'll end it quickly and pull your boxers up.

When I was in 10th grade two years ago, I had to go in for a sports physical. I was really dreading it, but the visit its self wasn't that bad. When they went in the private area, it wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. It lasted about 10-20 seconds and then it was done. The key is to remember that the doctor went through nearly a decade of schooling and it is their job to make sure you're alright.

Oh, and I had a female doctor, so that made things even more uncomfortable, but even then, not so bad.

You'll be good, when I first started them, I would get hard but now I don't even flinch, it's just normal now

nothing to worry about. they check your body to make sure everything is ok. regardless if it is sports or not, they are going to more than likely check your dick. it is not like they are trying to make it sexual though and that part is usually over as quick as possible unless there is a problem.

I have gotten hard before more than once. I needed physicals regularly for sports. different doctors do the whole physical think sometimes with slight differences (for example, some have you keep your clothes/shoes on when getting weighed, mine has me do it when I am in my underwear).

at the end of the say though, as long as your healthy it is nothing to worry about. and if they do find something...well that is the point of getting regularly checked. don't worry about it going in though, nothing to worry about

I have physicals every year for sport. It's most likely that you'll have to take your boxers off while the doctor does the testicular exam and checks for a hernia. Yes it's quite uncomfortable but it takes less than a minute. I usually don't have an erection, except last time when I had a female doctor and I got a hard on as soon as she touched my dick. I blushed but really you don't have to worry about, it's a very normal and healthy reaction.

I've never had one since I don't think that they're a regular occurrence here, but getting a boner in front of the doctor is normal, and from what I've seen on here in the past, it will be completely ignored by them because it's an awkward situation for all parties involved. Just don't worry about it!

I get a physical for sports every year at the beginning of every season. Head to toe. The first time I was excited and a bit scared too. So I know what you are feeling.
But it is a very professional procedure. It seemed that to all the doctors I went to checking my balls and penis was not different to checking my spine, ears or any other body part.
I never got a bonner or anything close. To me a doctors office makes it hard :D to get aroused :P

I got hard at my last physical. It was really embarrassing. But the doctor was nice about it and just told me not to worry about it and he just kept going.

Hey, I recently had my first physical because I was also getting shots updated. It wasn't too bad and I didn't get a boner because was thinking about the ugliest chick I could think of while he was handling my equipment. I'm uncircumcised and he spent some time checking my foreskin but I think that's normal, that was the most uncomfortable part. Parents tell you how many shots you'd be getting?

nothing to worry about. they check your body to make sure everything is ok. you most likely wont have time to get hard he will just feel you for like 10sec and then say get dressed

it's nothing to worry about really, it doesn't last long, and if you get hard they don't care.

I have to go get a physical done in a few days and I'm getting kinda nerves as to how it's gonna go. What's some advice that I can expect them to do, did you get hard?

You could have your testicles examined, where they check for any lumps, to make sure you're safe. You could get hard, but it would be fine the doctor would have seen it before.

i got fully erect at mine. just try to stay calm and breath do whatever they tell you and if you do get erect its not like they haven't seen it before, youll be fine
