I don't think there is a set amount of time, to be honest with you - it all depends on the person and how horny they are (and to a certain extent how much control they have).

But, it's different for everyone; personally I usually last anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes, however I have lasted both much longer and much shorter in the past.

That seems fine to me. There isn't really any specific amount of time you should last. If you only have a few minutes but feel so horny you need to cum then it's fine to do it fast. My fastest was 1m40s. If you have longer you can stop & go - get close to cumming, stop for a bit, then continue until you are close again etc. - for much longer. The longest I have done that was about 4.5 hours. The advantage of doing that is that the orgasm is even more intense and pleasurable. There really is no average, there are a lot of variables that come into play when it comes to "lasting". Some guys last longer than others, it just depends on the person and the circumstances. If you arent confident in this area, you could always use masturbation as a way to practice. Edging usually works for a lot of us, so you might want to try that and see how long you can go before you HAVE to orgasm.
