Mate and girl

Hey everybody.
Recently my mate has been talking to a girl they are already planning marriage and sexting and all that. But when my mate asks her out she says no. So I said to my mate she's leading you on. He goes and tells her that I'm back stabbing and sends me a fuck off huge paragraph. Apparently my life is that shit that I have to bring everyone down. That is true but not the part that I'll bring everyone down. Me and this girl were mates for around 3.5 years before she just shut the door and said I'm done I don't wanna be mates. And I'm trying to get that across to my mate and he just tells her that I'm backstabbing.


What should I do about my mate?
What should I do about the girl he likes?

If he doesn't want to listen to you and tells you to fuck off when you're only looking out for him, then there might not be much that you can do. You can't really help somebody who doesn't want help in the first place. I'd say let it go if you don't want to fight with him or possibly hurt your friendship. He'll see that you're right in time (probably).
