So, about 90% of my friends have girlfriends and they make it seem very easy. I have never even had one. There are several girls i have had a crush on or do have a crush on in my day to day life, yet I have implanted myself too deep in the friend zone to make a move. How exactly does one get a girlfriend? Any help is appreciated

I've never had a boyfriend and honestly, I've come to terms with that fact and I'm not gonna try. But I've had to drag many of my friends out of sticky relationship situations, so I like to think I have experience in terms of the do's and don'ts.

Basically, the first thing you gotta think is if there's anyone you actually properly fancy. Like, you can't wake up one morning and think "damn, I'm feeling jelly of my mates and their girlfriends so ima go pick up a girl straight away." Nah, that ain't happening (believe me, I know someone who tried .-.). If there's someone you do like, and I mean not just a crush because they're popular, really hot etc, you gotta get to know them.
1) Just say hi (or any other equivalent to get their attention). Ask how they are. Show some interest in them. If you don't fancy hitting it straight off then:
2) Ask about some homework or something.

The only way you're gonna get somewhere is actually talking to them and not burying your head in the sand.
