I met this guy online and we're both 17 and we started snap chatting and realized we have a lot of the same interests and we don't live too far away, is it a bad idea to plan a day to meet up at Disneyland and hang out ?? Like I don't really think it is but idk

I don't think it's a bad idea, you have seen him on snap chat so know what he looks like. Plus you are meeting in a big place with lots of people around so it sounds pretty save to me.

Yea its safe like I'm literally meeting a guyy age which I've been snapchatting for the past 2 weeks and I said that as long as it's in a public place and we're just gunna talk first then its fine.

I don't know but just as a precaution I'd take someone with me as you would do when meeting someone you know online, just in case. That someone can then go out as soon as you get to know each other

This guy nailed it. Also, perhaps tell your parents/guardians where you are going also so at least they will have an idea of where you are just in case.

I'll echo what the others are saying.
Maybe Skype him, FaceTime, something with a realtime video. Snapchat can easily be hacked to send whatever you want, just grab photos and vids off the internet. So do that first.
Secondly what others have been saying, maybe bring a couple of friends each (teach him to keep himself safe) and they can go off to hang out together. Also means if you two don't click the day isn't wasted, you can all go hang out as friends. This saves telling parents/guardians if you aren't 'out' to them or they are massively strict.
Let us know how it goes and good luck!

It may not be a bad idea, you have already seen what he looks like and you have talked to him for a while, so meeting in a very public place is a good idea for your first meeting, but if you do this, make sure you tell someone where you are going and who you are going to meet -- if not a trusted parents, then a trusted friend and let them know you will contact them every hour just to let them know you are okay.
