Sleepovers

So I said kinda jokingly to a friend that we should have a sleepover. And he was like "We totally should!" So I want to but what is the "norm" with sleepovers? Do you go straight to underwear to sleep in or is it normal to sleep in shorts and a t-shirt? I don't want him to feel weird haha

It depends on how well you know him. I would sleep in a t-shirt and shorts if you feel like he could be weirded out, but ultimately you know him best.

I would ask your friend what he sleeps in so that way you can get a heads up and youll know. When I had/have my sleepovers, everyone usually sleeps in boxers and/or a t shirt

If that's the case and you'd feel comfortable being naked in front of him then I recommend sleeping naked. If he questions just say you thought that that was normal. If he doesn't want you to be naked or feels uncomfortable then you can just put something on.

This is basically what me and all my friends wear when we have sleepovers too. Usually in winter or when it's cold we wear pjs with or without underwear. Normally in summer when it is warm we will wear shorts and t shirts. If the sleepover is at my house I will ask my friend(s) what they usually wear to sleep in. If it's at another dude's house he probably ask me what I usually sleep in. If not, then I will ask him. Generally, though, when we sleepover with friends we all know basically what we wear to bed. Regarding sleeping naked, Man, you really have to know the dude well and be very close...like your bestie... to even ask that!!!

Im sure parents would freak out unless the

What you wear depends on the way you feel. If you are too good friends and feel comfortable in front of each other you can sleep however you want and I am sure he will not have any problem.

I'd say ask him what he usually does. You could mention that you usually sleep naked, but don't want to if that makes him uncomfortable. That way he feels comfortable sleeping how he normally does, and you can get an idea of what works without it awkwardly happening right then and there.

Normally me and my friends would just sleep in boxers but I'd prefer sleep naked.. I think the day before the sleepover ask him how he sleeps without making it too obvious and however he sleeps just go with it.. But if it is naked, ask before you do it you know or otherwise he might slag you

I always sleep in briefs or naked so its really no big deal and just by reading all the posts above I can see that it isn't to others either... Just be yourself and if you think it's chill to sleep in boxers then do that, or just strip down and see if he cares and if he does then just say "oh sorry thought most people slept like this anyways"

Depends on the friend. I usually sleep in boxers and a tshirt. One time my friend and I slept nude which was amazing. Just depends on the situation.

I norm sleep naked so i had the same problem when i was first asked to have a sleepover. Originally i ended up staying up so late tht i woukd literally fall asleep in the clothes i had wore that day but thx to me going a bunch of times ive even slept naked at his house. Normally id imagine what would you do if the friends parents walk in? Would you be comfortable in just boxers? Luckily for me his parents work early but yeah. It honestly matters on the friend.

I'm no expert, but I have slept over at a few people's houses, and shared hotel rooms. With sleepovers, I've been drinking. It depends who I am around, I usually sleep in lounge pants, and a top. But when I was in Germany, sharing a hotel room with two other guys. One of them slept nude, and the other slept in purely boxers. I slept in boxers and a top. None of us felt awkward at all. Try watching a movie, comedy, horror, something like that.

It depends on what your relationship is like with him. I still have them sometimes and we just play video games, then watch a movie in bed til we fall asleep. We usually just sleep in boxers. No big issue with it.

Nothing is the "norm". it all depends on how close you two are as friends and what you feel comfortable doing. I can provide an example with two different friends. one friend I have I'm not too close with so when I went to stay at his house I wore a shit and shorts to bed. Activities were things like video games and going out for a bit and all that. With another friend however who I am far more comfortable with we talked about masturbation, which girls he would sleep with, which boys I would. We even watch porn and masturbate together. So with sleeping we both slept nude. The point is it is all dependent on how comfortable you and he are together.
