View Full Version : Wet Dreams: A slightly different question for those who have had them

Ok, so I have never had a wet dream. I have woken up incredibly horny, so much so that I pretty much have to just grab my cock and masturbate right away and I have had sexual dreams that didn't end up wet, but never an actual wet dream.
So for those of you who have them, or have had them, and who also have sexual dreams that are not wet, do the dreams that end up wet and those that don't differ in any explainable way? For example, dreams about things you have actually experienced vs. things you haven't. Or things you would want to experience vs. things you wouldn't. Or any other difference you are aware of? Or is it just random?

I don't know. I guess they're the same. I haven't had many wet dreams because I probably masturbate enough not to have them. But I wake up from dreams like that too.

I've had wet dreams of both things I would want to experience and also things I wouldn't. All of them were based on things I hadn't experienced
I also had dreams that I didn't wake up from (or don't think I did) and I never remember what happened, though it was obvious I had a wet dream
Not sure what decides if they become wet
I don't really get them anymore. Last one was probably over a year ago

I've had quite a few wet dreams and just sex dreams. I don't know how much of a difference there is, but I never end up actually having sex in one where i don't wake up wet. Anytime in my dream i'm sucked or i fuck i end up wet when i wake though.

To me it's hard to find a pattern, and I've only had a couple actual wet dreams so I'll do my best to explain myself. Most of the sexual dreams I have are not very long, and I don't remember them clearly when I wake up. The ones that were wet were very long and intense, and I can still remember them in detail. The actual experience didn't make a difference, but for some reason the ones that are longer and more intense end up being wet.

Hi Hermes,
I wouldn't worry about not having had a wet dream yet mate, as quite a few people transition through puberty without having had one. How old are you though?
Must say that I don't find any pattern in particular occurring with me. I could have them dreaming about very random things, with no relation to sexual acts at all. Examples would include dreams such as when hiking, swimming, parachuting, etc.
Haven't really noted that it occurs in relation to experiences I've never had (for example, I've never gone parachuting). Nor is there any pattern in relation to the activities being more adrenaline filled than others (such as with the hiking example).
I usually wake up at the point of ejaculation, and the sensation really doesn't change much in comparison to more 'interesting' dreams.
I have found though, that wet dreams occur more frequently for me when I'm tired than not, and usually if there has been a period of abstaining, compared with when not; though even this is not always the case.
Hope it helps!

Yeah it's very similar for me. I often get them if I haven't jerked in a while, like 5 days. Sometimes I wake up right when I ejaculate or sometimes I wake up in the morning, either way its a mess lol.

I've had two wet dreams in total but apart from that i've also had many sexual dreams but not wet. As for me, the only patterns that differ between a wet and a dry sexual dream is that I end up having a wet dream after a period of days without masturbating.

No, they don't really differ in any explainable way. I think it's pretty random. Whether my sexual dreams are wet or dry seems to depend on how long the dream lasts and whether I happen to wake up before I cum, I think.

I have my share of wet dreams. After reading what you guys have during yours, I concur I am the same. My wet dreams happen for apsolutely no reason at all. At first it was fun, but now I jo in secret because our parents don't like me masturbating.

Most don't but some do for me, and there is no difference in the content of the dream tbh. If I have been edging it before bed and kinda forgotten to finish I will usually end up having a wet dream but otherwise I'm usually safe, I guess it's like using the toilet in a dream, most times u wake up, sometimes nothing happens and rarely you've pissed yourself

You don't really get wet dreams much if you masturbate and stuff.

I'm new and not a native English speaker so I don't really understand what you guys are talking about. Can anyone explain what "wet dreams" exactly means? Thanks.

my wet dreams as mostly that they had or still have ( still have for me) are for no reason and I'll cum at end in all of them

I have had both "types" of wet dreams in the past, but now I only have "wet" ones. I see no difference at all between the two.

There is really no difference that i can remember. I dream about different things, it is never the same thing from one dream to the next.
