The Unknown Sport (On VT At Least)

I looked around, and saw nothing referencing this "sport" (there is controversy over it being a physical sport, and not a mental one) but I think it needs some sort of attention. This sport is Speedcubing. The sport of solving a Rubik's Cube as fast as possible. (I think there should be a group for Cubers...) My question is, have you ever heard of it until now? If so, are you a cuber / do you want to be a cuber?

I know a speedcuber guy from Indiana. I'm not sure of his record spped but fuck me he was fast, he won a whole load of nationals.

a sport is classified as something that is competitive, requires some amount of skill and stamina, and many people do. speedcubing is exactly that
