youre always at risk for disease when having sex with someone, so thats why its best to protect yourself. Giving a bj with a condom is terrible, unless you are using flavored condoms, but youd be better safe than sorry. If you have known him for a while and you trust him, then maybe you can do it without, but that is totally up to you.

Well there is a chance of an STD so you probably should use a condom but it's not absolutely necessary if you know him well and trust him enough

yea blow jobs with condoms on is not a whole lot of fun. if OP is that worried, probably shouldn't be getting a bj from him in the first place.
Happy Birthday to the OP by the way

If you don't trust him completely, better use a condom

if he's your best friend I would ask and him if he has anything and if you trust his answer then you can either do it bare or put a condom on it just to make you feel better. you being comfortable is the most important part

I agree with this totally. You need to trust your partner and feel comfortable, it you feel uncertain please protect yourself.

Yes, you most certainly are at risk for diseases when it comes to blowjobs. I agree with the person above that doing a blowjob on someone wearing a condom defeats the purpose of the blowjob in the first place which is why I would not recommend doing that.
The fact remains STDs can live in your throat and mouth if the person has one. Also, you are still at risk for AIDS as well for oral sex. The point is that there is a risk to do oral sex on anyone unless you know for a fact they are clean.
Assuming your friend is not a virgin, then you need to demand that he gets tested for STDs especially if you will be the one on the receiving end of the blowjob. If your friend refuses to be tested or just says to trust him, then I would not do the blowjob because that is a red flag right there. Even if his past sexual partners do not have STDs that does not mean those folks are clean. The other people could simply not be symptomatic for STDs if they have one. Unless your partner is tested or you know for a fact the partner is a virgin, then I would not do a blowjob because you need to protect yourself above all else.
I would slow things down and just make sure you are ready for any sort of sexual activity because a blowjob still carries risks, and you don't want to get a problem especially if you don't have insurance or are dependent on your parents for your healthcare needs.
