Absolutely it all starts with hormones. My experience is that prior to puberty, i.e. prior to the increase in testosterone that causes most of puberty, I was not interested in sexual things and didn't see other people in a sexual way. I was not interested in surfing for porn.

I also think that once you start get horny from increased testosterone you will be horny even without anything external. Sure, a sexy girl, porn, or a hot fantasy can act as a focus of that horniness but I don't think it is really the cause of it.

So, in the absence of porn I can be turned on by people, by memories, by reading erotic stories and by touch.
