Hello! Was wondering how to put pictures in posts?

I was trying to place a picture in a post earlier from my computer files but the only tab on here I saw to put a pic on was from a URL. How can i get a pic from my computer files. If thats not possible how do i put one on the internet so that i may put it in a post?

To put in a picture from your computer files there are two options, the first is uploading the picture to a site like tinypic or imgur and then paste the link, the second option is the following, when you are making a post scroll down a little bit to a section that says "Additional Options" there will be a button that says "Manage Attachments" click on that and you will be given a small window that will give you the options to upload multiple pictures from your computer. Note that this can't be done when quick-replying.

Scroll down until you see the "manage attachments button" That will creat an attachment. If you want a picture in your post, then uplode your pictures to an image website like Imgur and use the URL picture button above.

The only way that works for me is "manage attatchments"
When I try include a picture or youtube video in a post, it comes up unsuccesful.

Alternately, you could upload your picture to a photo sharing site (imgur (http://imgur.com/) is my personal preference, but there's also tinypic, Photobucket, etc. To each their own) and grab the direct URL from there (which can then be pasted into the little image prompt box that asks for the URL) or just copy and paste the link with the IMG tags around it and forego having to bring up the little box to paste the URL into.
